These terms apply to the Bodh iOS app, created by Kshitij Mokashi. By downloading or using Bodh, you agree to these terms. Please read them before use.

Using the app

Bodh is free to use. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws.

Intellectual property

All content in Bodh — including the app design, curation of verses, commentary, and AI features — is owned by Kshitij Mokashi unless otherwise noted. The Bhagavad Gita text itself is in the public domain. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the app or its proprietary content without permission.

AI features

Bodh uses artificial intelligence to power the chat and reflection features. AI responses are generated based on the Bhagavad Gita text and should be treated as a reading aid, not as spiritual, legal, medical, or professional advice. We strive for accuracy, but AI can make mistakes. Always apply your own judgment.

Your content

Your daily reflections are stored locally on your device. We do not access, store, or transmit them. You own everything you write.

Availability and changes

We may update Bodh from time to time to improve it. We may also discontinue the app or specific features at any time. We’ll make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes. Bodh is provided as-is, and we make no warranties about uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Bodh. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app (which is zero, since it’s free).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. We’ll update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
